I denounce distasteful, provocative hate speech like that of the Terry Jones. Burning anyone's scripture is a bad idea.
On a personal level it's rude.
On a national level we would be better served to ally ourselves with moderates of ALL faiths in order to strip mindshare from extremists (including Terry Jones).

On a happy note, Jones lost 30 of his 50 member strong congregation over this bit of stupidity. There is a modicum of common sense, even deep in Florida Gators country.
ReplyDeleteI just wish the national media would stop paying attention to wrong-headed fools like this. I think attention is what he really wanted anyway.
Good to know some of the flock know that particular shepherd may not all there.
