I sprouted some chickpeas (garbanzo "beans") and will try to get some 4" seedlings out of them. If they grow I'll drop them in the garden and see what happens. I will try some no-soaks, too, as that appears to be the preferred method.

ReplyDeleteYes, that's the idea. At this point I'd just be happy if I get a chickpea plant.
ReplyDeleteSquirrels have been savaging my garden, even with a little fence up around it. I'm considering livetrapping them and introducing them to the witness protection program. Or getting a better scope.
